Do you know of an unsung hero of your Service Unit? Does your child’s Troop leader go the extra mile in everything they do for the Troop? Who is the person you see volunteering at every event? Does your Cookie chair go above and beyond? Now is the time to step forward and nominate those volunteers who deserve some recognition.

Mid-Peninsula Service Unit invites you to participate in our Bridging Event 2025. Let’s bring our troops together to fulfill the bridging requirements. This is a bridging event for Girl Scouts of all age groups and bridging levels!!!
The Bridging Requirements usually involves two parts: Pass It On and Look Ahead. In the first step, girls remember their favorite activities and share their skills with a younger troop. In the second step, they’ll meet with older girls to learn what’s in store for the next program grade level. Each troop will come prepared with an activity or skill they learned to Pass it On and Look Ahead. Here are some examples:
For Daisies: Bridge to Brownie Award
For Brownies: Bridge to Junior Award
For Juniors: Bridge to Cadette Award
For Cadettes: Bridge to Senior Award
For Seniors: Bridge to Ambassador Award
For Ambassadors: Bridge to Adult Award

1-2pm sisterhood activities and fulfilling bridging requirements
2pm Court of Awards where they attend the bridging ceremony
Price includes official bridging patch to the next level and fun patch for attending Court of Awards event. Additional family members are welcome to attend during the Court of Awards ceremony at 2pm.
Registration is $8 per girl
Register by June 1st
Please keep to the adult-girl ratio to have registered adult chaperones. This is not a drop-off event, members need the adult-girl ratio. Register individually or as a troop.

Girl Scouts of Northern California Mid-Peninsula Service Unit Presents the 2024-2025 Court of Awards Event, honoring our youth and their accomplishments! All Mid-Peninsula Girl Scouts and their families are invited to cheer on and recognize our Girl Scout awardees!
Is your troop bridging this year? Bridging troops will have the opportunity to fulfill their bridging requirements before the ceremony. At the end of the youth awards ceremony we will have a bridging ceremony.
Awards that will be presented:
Bronze, Silver, Gold Award Recipients approved September 2024
Ambassadors Class of 2024 Bridging to Adult
Honor Troop- D/B/J/C/S/A
Journey Summit Awards (Earn all three Journeys for a program level)- D/B/J/C/S/A
Top Product Sellers: Fall Take Action 2024 and Cookie Program 2025
Religious Awards: My Promise My Faith- D/B/J/C/S/A
Presidential Volunteer Service Awards (see separate email)- D/B/J/C/S/A

Higher awards (Bronze, Silver and Gold Award) require council approved acceptance by September 30th, 2024
Honor Troop awards are awarded to troops that have earned over 90 points from the honor troop requirements. 106 possible points.

Presidential Volunteer Service Awards are awarded to awardees that have fulfilled the volunteer hours and filled out the Mid-Peninsula approval form.
All other awards are approved by troop leader or troop admin.
Pre-registration required, this is not a drop-in event.

Volunteers needed, service hours can be earned:
Chair and room setup and/or take down - arrive at 2pm, Brownie-Adult.
Award setup - arrive at 12pm, Cad-Amb or Adult
Flag ceremony for opening - arrive at 1pm to practice, no experience necessary! Any age level can participate.
Photographers (Adult) to take still/poised photos of the youth and email. Cad-Amb certainly can help! Arrive at 2pm.
Registration/Welcome Desk person/s - one must be an adult, others can be Cadette-Ambassador. Arrive at 1:30pm to set up.
